Hello!
I’m Kareena Bhatia, and I’m pursuing a B.F.A. in Computer Animation, along with a minor in Business of Art and Design and Art History at Ringling College of Art and Design.
I am currently co-directing my thesis film, a three-minute animated medieval comedy titled "Date Knight", which will be completed in May 2025! I focus on Character Animation, but I am trained as a 3D generalist and have experience in rigging, texturing, lighting, compositing, editing, simulation, and production management.
I pursued animation to create stories and characters that resonate with people. I prioritize fun in my work, often using bright colors, unusual characters, and interesting concepts to inspire and bring out a smile and laughter in my audience.

When I’m not animating, you can find me exploring trails with my dog, or practicing my impromptu DIY haircutting skills. Some bucket list items for me are to purchase a toy of a character I worked on, meet a camel, and visit a McDonald's in every country I visit to try their different menu items.
